Middle School Registration Information 

 

It’s time to start thinking about your 5th grader's transition to middle school!

• Middle School registration is when your child will choose core (math, language arts) and encore classes (band, art, global language, computer science, technology, nutrition, etc.)
• Course requests are not guaranteed, they are based on availability
• Contact the data manager to update your home address if necessary to ensure your zoned school is correct in our data system

Important Dates:

• The parent window to select courses for your zoned middle school is 2/14 (5:00 p.m.) to 2/23
• General Greene Virtual Rising 6^th Parent Information Night hosted by Mrs. Medina on 2/11/25 at 5:30 on Zoom.
  • Rising 6th Parent Night Presentation 2.11.25
• Kiser is having a second parent night on 2/12 at 6:00 p.m. at Morehead Elementary School
• Western Middle is hosting a parent night on 2/27 at 5:30 (flyer below)
• Hairston Middle will host a virtual parent night on 2/13/25 at 5:30
• Mendenhall Middle will host a parent night on 2/25/25 at 5:30 (flyer below)
• Kernodle Middle will host a parent night on 2/26 at 6:30 in their commons area
• Jamestown Middle will host a parent night on 3/6 5:30
• Northeast Middle will host a parent night on 3/4 at 5:30 (flyer below)
• Southern Middle will host a parent night on 3/3 at 5:45 (flyer below)
